1. You acknowledge that you have read and agree to the
Master Services Agreement and Terms of Service
and that you have reviewed the applicable
Data Coverage
for the selected search area.
2. You certify that you have a permissible purpose under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and that each report requested will be used only for that permissible purpose.
3. You certify that you have provided a clear disclosure and obtained proper written authorization from the individual prior to requesting any consumer report.
4. You acknowledge that Direct Screening provides court-verified, convictions-only criminal background reports, generally limited to the past seven years from the date of disposition.
5. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for all employment, tenant screening, or other decisions made using consumer reports, and that Direct Screening does not make or influence such decisions.
6. You acknowledge that Direct Screening does not provide legal advice and that you are not relying on Direct Screening, its services, or any materials provided to determine your compliance with applicable laws, and that your compliance obligations are ongoing.
